Is it normal to loose weight while on pep?
Some people who take PEP experience temporary side effects such as nausea, fatigue and diarrhea. For most people, side effects are mild and manageable. Side effects can vary depending on the type of drugs prescribed for PEP and the person who is taking them. Talk to your doctor or nurse practitioner if you are having side effects from PEP.

Thank you for the well explained and simplified video. PrEP is indeed highly effective. However, I think it is inaccurate to say that PrEP is free of side effects! Of course, it depends on how often you take it and what kind of dosing regime you follow, but chronic use of PrEP can also cause elevated kidney or liver enzymes, and that is why it is very important to regularly check with your physician for side effects and more to test for HIV infections.

Taking PEP literally gave me a peace of mind. The nausea and drowsiness really sucked for the first week. Now all I get is bloated. Its a fair price to pay to potentially keep you safe 💪🏾
